About Me

I qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from King's College London in 2009 and worked in the NHS for four years before moving into private practice. Before this time I ran my own sports-massage business for five years.

After qualifying, I spent most weekends pitchside for amateur and professional rugby league and union clubs. In addition, I have worked for Great Britain Basketball, British Gymnastics and had the great honour of working poolside at the London Olympics, as well as in the athletes' village during the Paralympic Games.

Always keen to further my knowledge, I have gained additional qualifications in acupuncture (Western and cosmetic), clinical pilates, including ante- and post- natal pilates, and taping.

Since becoming a mum, I have developed a firm interest in pelvic health and women’s wellbeing, in part due to first-hand experience of birth trauma.  From 2016, I have successfully delivered ante- and post-natal pilates classes and have become certified as a Mummy MOT® practitioner. This has qualified me to assess post-natal mummies after their six-week GP check, examining their posture, degree of tummy separation (diastasis recti), organ prolapse, scar management and return-to-sport advice.

I am so passionate about my profession and provide my clients with the most up-to-date and clinically researched treatment possible. One of the ways I do this is through my blog. I go the extra mile for each person and this can be seen in every one of my testimonials.
